I left Houston, TX and my hubby for a weekend to go back to Utah and do some photo shoots. This was a senior shoot and it was awesome! This girl was beautiful and an absolute natural in front of the camera. I am excited to start designing her graduation announcement! Thanks Aubrey!

This couple was so creative.For there dessert at their dinner they put on aprons that said "Mr." & "Mrs." and they made ice cream sandwiches for all their guests! That is a couple that is going to spend their life serving others, with each other at their side. Thank you Sandy and Michael!

What a great couple! This was my first engagement shoot since moving down here to Houston, TX from Utah. We had so much fun at Discovery Green Park and then downtown at dusk. I can't wait to do more shoots here in Houston and at all the great locations around Texas.

These are two sessions that I did last week of two of my best friends. Shellie was in the photography program at BYU-I with me as well as my roommate, and Nicole was my companion from the mission and still dear friend. I was able to do these shoots within a few days of each other and by the end of the week I was pretty baby hungry! They were great sports about letting me feel their bellies and ask a billion questions...what are friends for, right? I can't wait for these little girls to come:)

These two are so in love:) We went in the morning to do pictures before the sealing so I took pictures of when they first saw each other. I explained to Justin that he would just stand in this certain spot until Emily got a little closer and then he could go to her. The moment he saw her he asked, "Can I go?", I told him to wait until she was a little closer. "Now?" I still wanted him to wait, seeing how she had just barely rounded the corner, but he couldn't wait! He just left is assigned spot and went to her! He absolutely adores Emily and they are starting their marriage on a strong foundation. Thank you Justin & Emily for letting me do your pictures. I absolutely loved it:)

This is the adorable little family that I am living with right now! Lucky me, I know. We decided to go out to these beautiful orchards nearby and "try" to do some family pictures. I finally was able to do a wedding in the rain! It was COLD but...it was rain (and maybe snowing a little bit!). These two were a lot of fun and super willing to try lots! Next time it rains...I hope I'm shooting another wedding:)

The Manti temple is so beautiful, and so is this couple! I met Jay and Chelsea while I was in Cleveland this past Fall. I felt so lucky they asked me to capture their wedding...what an honor! They were a wonderful, fun, and willing couple. They had so much trust in me and my style that they let me try all sorts of fun things...I hope I didn't disappoint:) Enjoy....

Jake is going to be a big brother!! He was absolutely adorable when we were taking these (as you can tell). I even had a good time. We played with bugs, climbed on the furniture and ate chocolate chips. Life doesn't get any better.

Ah, I still get little bitter patters of excitement when I hear anything about missionaries! My mission was the best thing that has ever happened to me. CONGRATULATIONS MATT!
In order feed my enthusiasm for missions and to some how help with the work by using my talents, I do a free missionary session for all missionaries. It is a 15 minute shoot and they receive a 3x5 print for their missionary plaque. So Spread the word...I L-O-V-E missionaries:)

I was SO pleased when I showed up at this little family's home to see just how AdOrAbLe these kiddos are!!! Not only were these boys beautiful but they were very excited to get pictures taken with their new baby sister, Amelia. This baby girl was such a little model that she wouldn't even fall asleep for us. She didn't want to miss a thing! It was a fun shoot and these are just a few of my favorites images.

Two months can be a difficult age to photograph babies, but I loved the images we got from our session! She had the most gorgeous eyes, and smile when she would show us:) What a doll. I am excited to do more of her with her two older brothers soon!

It's time to make an excuse for my lack this Fall, but I feel it's a pretty good one! I had quite the opportunity at the end of August to venture out with my brother and his family to Cleveland, Ohio where they will be living for the next year. The offered to let me stay with them if I would help them move out and watch their two adorable boys here and there; how can I pass that up? I got a great job with Ohio School Pictures, learning the tricks and trades of a whole new avenue of photography. It was the perfect job, not only because of the great people I got to work with but also because of the schedule; evenings, weekends, and holidays all off! This allowed me the chance to travel! So I have created this album of postcards from my adventures to validate my excuse as being a fabulous one:) As fun as it was, I'm am back and you'll be seeing much m ore of me!

Hayley Dawn asked me to do this shoot for her friends....I loved it! It brought back a FLOOD of memories of what it was like to be a senior. Thrilled to graduate and move into the unknown *world* and yet the fear of leaving friends that have become, literally, apendages to you! I am thankful for those times in my life now when I cross the path of one of my old *appendages* and we reconnect, even if it's only a few minutes. Funny how life moves on so quickly...

I was lucky to be able to do pictures of this sweet baby girl! It is the couples first and they just dote on her...what a lucky girl:) It is amazing that at just a couple of weeks old they already have such a little personality. What a doll.

I have been in the midst of brewing up something great for the seniors this spring and decided to give a peek of it on my blog. It will be a $175 package including: a one hour session(up to 3 outfit changes), 8 wallets, online proofing, 10 Hi-res files, and ( my recent idea!) 25 MYcards. MYcards are 5x7, double sided announcements of YOU and for YOU. Seniors are so unique and their announcement should be as well. Each MYcard is designed for you individually, using the favorite photos from your shoot. It can be sent traditionally in an envelope or as a fun postcard. It will be one of a kind!
